Oregon exports

Every once in a while, we get fun little reminders of home…meeting someone who has lived in Oregon, hearing about an expat's travels through the Pacific Northwest, or reading snippets of news that have made it across the Pacific. Even better are the unexpected imports from Oregon that randomly pop up. Nike products (both real and fake) are everywhere, and of course Intel…

But the best are the unique little brands that have made deep inroads. They make me proud of the Little Oregon That Could. And somehow it isn't surprising that they are food-related: Tillamook Cheese! Kettle Chips! Thomas Kemper! Alas, no wines.

Now we just need the wineries and breweries to get in on the action. Even better…
